As a licensed energy company, we developed a data - driven platform that gives businesses and their trusted partners the insights and tools they need to understand their bill. Understanding their bill helps large businesses unlock enormous savings opportunities.  Last year alone, our customers saved $60 million and reduced over 1300 tons of CO2e.

The team

Our core team has built out our Canadian business, and we are now looking to grow the team as we expand into other North American markets. The role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of People & Culture will be expected to:

Support Strategy Discussions

  • Partner with our executive team as a trusted advisor and help align strategic business objectives with People & Culture programs and initiatives
  • Identify and analyze key people metrics, and recommend actions to improve business results through people and culture -  driving a high-performance culture

Support the Continued Growth of the Company

  • Build strong leadership capability through coaching and enable our executive team and managers to be the absolute best leaders they can be
  • Drive strategies to connect people to our mission and values while aligning people to the company’s objectives

Develop and Maintain Training Protocols

  • Identify and prioritize the most impactful People and Culture initiatives at each stage of EnPowered’s continued growth, and facilitate workforce and succession planning
  • Lead people and culture initiatives and continue to build our vibrant, diverse, and inclusive corporate culture - driving high employee satisfaction across all departments

Lead Recruiting Initiatives

  • Guide the team in continuing to develop our talent acquisition strategy to attract the best talent
  • Develop and implement initiatives to retain our high performance employees

  • You have strong business acumen and actively participate in the overall business strategy, and communicate the plans with transparency so that all employees feel aligned to the vision
  • You have the ability and desire to continue to build a company-wide HR strategy but are also willing to “roll up your sleeves” to get things done

Support the Continued Growth of the Company

  • You’ve helped leaders manage the murky waters of change  
  • You are passionate about being a part of a rapidly scaling tech company in a remote first environment 
  • You’re forward-thinking and your insights are often sought out as a trusted guide and coach

Develop and Maintain Training Protocols

  • You have experience developing culture, performance management, and supporting/enhancing an employer brand for a highly motivated and engaged workplace

Lead Recruiting Initiatives

  • You are passionate about building and supporting diverse teams
  • You have a broad network that we can reach out to in order to find referrals to high-quality candidates
  • You have experience successfully recruiting for senior level positions

General Background and Experience

  • You’re an experienced Senior HR person who has previously led large change initiatives or culture transformation projects
  • You have very high EQ and thrive in an organization built on trust and shared values, with diverse and talented people who crave impact and autonomy.
